Not Much Smog so Far this Year, But PM 10 Levels in Danger Zone

CityNews - According to the Thailand Pollution Control Department levels of pollution are not particularly higher than normal for Chiang Mai today, February 15th, nonetheless, they are still dangerously high, even though it is a clear day today.

The PM 10 (1 p.m.) levels are as below:

Chiang Mai City Hall: 78

Chiang Mai Yupparat School: 93

Lampang: 100

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) anything above 75 is considered hazardous for your health.

i called the hotline 1784 yesterday after i saw big fire. the woman on the other end of the hotline does not speak english....so only for thai speaking persons. second call from my thai friend she answered:" make picture and call the local authority about that"....so...what is that number for? no help..no support..no english...fires are burning.
